Assessment and Consultation:

Your first session determines your treatment plan. The physiotherapist will discuss your treatment options after a history and physical examination.

Together with your physiotherapist, you will determine realistic short and term goals to achieve your best possible outcomes.

With your consent, we begin your first treatment including a start to your custom home exercise program. We work to meet your expectations.

Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT):

Physiotherapists at our clinics utilize the Bioflex Laser system. In conjunction with the acupuncture meridian system or on its own, LILT treatments facilitate the soft tissue healing and pain management.

Dry Needle Therapy:

A technique used in the release of trigger points in patients with chronic myofascial pain.

Massage Therapy:

Deep tissue, relaxation and lymphatic massage treatments are available with our registered massage therapists (30 and 60 minute sessions) at massage therapy rates.

Limited regional therapeutic massage (30 minute session) available with our physiotherapists at physiotherapy rates.

Orthotic Assessment and Casting:

Custom shoe inserts to help alleviate foot, knee, hip and back pain. Your physiotherapist will evaluate your gait and assess your feet. Ordered through Paris Orthotics in Vancouver B.C.

TMJ (temporomandibular joint) Programs:

We work with your dentist or dental specialist to help restore jaw function and reduce facial pain.

Post Motor Vehicle Accident Programs:

We work with Autopac to help you recover from car accident injuries. No medical referral is needed however we keep your doctor updated on your progress.

We direct bill Autopac on your behalf.

Worker's Compensation (WCB) Programs:

We work with WCB to help you recover from work related injuries.

We keep your doctor updated on your progress, work with case managers and bill WCB directly.

Functional Reconditioning Programs:

We offer specific assessment, treatment, and conditioning programs to help patients return to their work tasks. These enhanced
4, 6 or 8 week programs require authorization from health management companies.

Functional Ability Evaluations:

This detailed 1 or 2 day evaluation is valuable to patients and case managers who need to know current functional abilities as it relates to job requirements.

10 Day Chronic Pain Management Program:

This consecutive 2 week program is designed to help patients manage their pain instead of their pain managing them.

Customized exercise, relaxation techniques, biomechanical awareness are some of the features of this program.

Biomechanical Running Assessments

Physiotherapists trained to analyze and correct running style to reduce injuries and enhance running performance.

Vestibular Therapy

Vestibular therapy refers to a form of physiotherapy that treat disorders of the vestibular system, which is located in the inner ear. Symptoms such as vertigo (sensation of the room spinning), dizziness, vision problems and balance problems are all common with vestibular disorders. Common conditions we treat include BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), neuritis, labyrinthitis, and age related vestibular changes.


Individual Exercise Programs

Every patient is unique.

Your exercise program will be designed just for you. As you heal your program progresses accordingly. Your physiotherapist will instruct you on every exercise and check to be sure your are preforming correctly. Some exercises will be dropped as more challenging ones are added. You continue your exercises between appointments with a list that is easy to follow.
